Meet our AIRs
Rupashree G
After 15 years in the corporate world I took a break to raise my new born son. It’s in this time that I started pursuing my childhood passion for painting. After attending a few courses at NAFA and other local artists in Singapore, I enrolled myself for an online annual class with world renowned artist who is based in India. With this journey I started understanding various art mediums.
Joining an art community which encourages budding artist like myself is given me that confidence that I needed the most! Meeting fellow mother artist will only enhance my knowledge in this field and no other right choice that to be a part of the programme.
Gitika Masand
As a mother to my spirited 4-year-old daughter, Anya, I find inspiration in the small, everyday moments that fill our lives. Her presence encourages me to care for myself and pursue a career that brings both joy and fulfillment.
My journey into art has been gradual and deeply personal, shaped by workshops I attended while living in Australia and the self-learning I continue in my free time. Art has become a way for me to express myself and connect with others, and I dream of one day holding my own exhibition, where I can share both my work and the personal stories behind each piece.
Nancy Loh
I'm drawn to light and shadows, beauty in the mundane, slices of SG, and themes of Lost n Found themes. I was a newspaper journalist and have authored commissioned commemorative books. I'm currently working on my book project about honey bees that incorporates my art. I have attended several painting short courses in SG conducted by skilled and talented artists. I'm curious about how others make their art - how they see and interpret a subject, their processes and mindsets - and i believe others will also be curious about my art-making. I forward to such mutual sharing within a safe and creative common space. I believe the AIR experience will be an enriching experience for me and for others.
Karina Lim
My name is Karina, and for the past ten years, I have been pursuing my dream of becoming an artist while balancing the demands of being a stay-at-home mom.
I nurture both my child's growth and the evolution of my artistic expression, finding joy and meaning in both roles.
As a self-taught artist, I explore the use of everyday materials, such as oil pastels, gel pens, flipboard markers, found paper, watercolours, acrylics, and embroidery, to bring my creations to life.
My inspiration stems from the simple yet profound moments in my daily life, whether it’s my son’s first day at school or the familiar places I pass on my walks.

These passions are reflected in her work, which is an interplay of color flow and texture, nature, and abstraction. She uses tools beyond brushes to create harmony between mystery and sophistication, allowing her emotions to flow through her paintings. Her work also reflects hope and light. "What a lovely private spot to work in! There's a total absence of outside interference - from noise and whatever. Perfect for mulling thoughts, pondering compositions and colour mixtures. Oh, and the window scenery doesn't hurt:)"
